The course provides practical training to enable incident managers of health emergencies to make informed decisions while understanding and considering resource constraints, allowing for priorities to be set and resources to be allocated safely and effectively. Overall, the course is designed to enhance the abilities of incident managers in the field of health emergency management.

Participants will learn how to establish and run a Health Emergency Operations Centre (HEOC) and coordinate with internal and external agencies. The course includes a simulation to apply Incident Management from notification to recovery and gain practical experience in handling real-life emergency situations. Overall, it is an excellent opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills in Incident Management Principles and be better prepared for future emergencies.

Mass casualty incidents (MCIs) resulting in burn injuries present unique challenges.
