The Australasian Cruise Lines Industry Association (CLIA) approached Respond Global to provide COVID-Safe planning support to their members for a successful return to sailing in Australian waters.

We possess a unique blend of maritime and public health experience and expertise that has already been successfully applied to numerous COVID-19 preparation, readiness, and response efforts. We have supported Coral Expeditions, one of Australia’s leading expeditionary cruise operators, to return to successful COVID-free sailing across five States and are assisting a number of others.

We are supporting CLIA and their members on an ongoing basis, reviewing technical and other health-related protocols, providing recommendations for the implementation of COVID-Safe plans, including comprehensive guest and crew testing regimes, providing crew training, providing risk communications advice, and assisting with the liaison between CLIA and government agencies where required.
